Alrighty then.
The first Saturday in May is 06 May 2006.
Cafe du Soleil is located at 1393 Commercial Drive.
http://www.commercial-drive.com/
It is near the corner of Kitchener Street & Commercial. Currently
there is no street sign for Kitchener. :) This is three blocks north
from 1st Avenue, and one block south from Grandview Park. It
is on the west side of the street.
It is open 7-days a week, from 8:00 am until 6:00 pm everyday.
It serves vegetarian food (except for its fabulous tuna melt). It
serves breakfast items at all hours. Actually, now that I think of
it, I think it serves all its menu all day - I just think that sometimes
it takes a while to get the soup on. It does not serve alcohol. I
did, however, have a very nice hot apple cider today.
It is a small restaurant, and sometimes one has to wait for a
table. The wait is worth it. Whoever is there first, be ready
to pounce on one of the tables for four.
Oh yes. It is a child-friendly place, so sitting near the kiddie
picnic table is pretty much guaranteed to have the conversation
punctuated with shrill punctuation. :)
What say all of you?
April.
